I use Google Analytics every week to track statistics on a variety of websites that I manage, including this one.
Now, I’m fairly fluent with the interface of Google Analytics, but it’s still not as intuitive as it could be. You’re completely disconnected with the visual aspect of your website and staring at numbers. It can be hard to stay awake.
The Page Analytics extension for Google Chrome changes that.
This extension allows you to see how your customers are interacting with your website visually.
Once you have the extension installed, you can load up your website and view your statistics as you browse.
Here’s an example:
Where to Get it
#1) You’ll need to have Google Analytics installed on your website and access to it in your Google account. You can either sign in to your Google account or sign up for a Google Account on the Google Analytics Homepage.
#2) Google Chrome. If you don’t have the Chrome browser, please do yourself and your internet experience a favor by downloading it here.
#3) Last, you’ll need the Page Analytics Extension which you can download from the Chrome Web Store.
Did I mention everything above is free?
Enjoy a more wakeful Google Analytics experience.
