That’s a question we hear on a daily basis when talking to someone about a new website project. Sometimes it can be the first question.
And our answer? “It depends.”
Being a custom web design company, that’s an answer we often provide until we know more information about the project requirements.
Custom Website Timeframe
On average, a custom website takes 30-60 days from start to launch.
Although, we can meet almost any deadline depending on the circumstances.
Most of the turnaround time will depend on how fast someone can return our calls/emails/texts.
That’s the most surprising part when mentioning this to prospective customers.
We’re going to need information and feedback throughout the project, and that’s going to come from the customer. There’s no way around it. And that takes time. Although we do our best to limit the amount of time spent by the customer, it will take time.
That’s why we recommend having a dedicated person on staff that can be the point person for discussions around the website. They should have authority to make decisions and also provide summaries to the ultimate decision maker.
