Graticle Design tapped into the nostalgic charm of vintage travel memorabilia to create a “Greetings from Washington State” postcard, paying homage to the classic design style of yesteryear. This design features a retro font set against a rich, evergreen backdrop, evoking the state’s lush landscapes and its nickname, “The Evergreen State.” This project was a creative exercise that allowed us to showcase our design versatility and our ability to invoke a sense of place and time through stylistic choices. The end result is a delightful blend of old-school cool with modern design sensibility, perfect for Washingtonians and visitors alike.
