Change the case of any text in one click.
Paste your text, pick a style and copy the result. Handy for headlines, product names, spreadsheets and anything typed with caps lock on by mistake.
Which Style to Use
Sentence case
Capitals only at the start of each sentence, the way you would write an email. Good for fixing text typed in all caps.
lowercase
Every letter small. Useful for email addresses, web addresses and tidying up data before it goes into a spreadsheet.
UPPERCASE
Every letter a capital. Use it sparingly, for short labels, part numbers or signs. Long passages in capitals are hard to read.
Capitalize Each Word
The first letter of every word as a capital. Handy for names, addresses, product titles and list headings.
Questions
Is my text saved or sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Close the page and the text is gone.
Does Sentence case keep names capitalized?
It cannot tell a name from an ordinary word, so names in the middle of a sentence become lowercase. It does keep the word “I” capitalized. Give the result a quick read for names and places.
I changed my mind. Can I go back?
Yes. Undo returns the text to how it was before your last change.
Should my website headings be in capitals?
Short headings in capitals can look sharp, but body text in capitals is harder to read and can feel like shouting. Most of the websites we build use capitals for the first word or each main word of a heading, and normal sentence case everywhere else.
