How a Switch Works
Five steps, and we do the heavy lifting.
1. We review what you have
A free audit of the site, its rankings and what is working, so nothing valuable is lost.
2. We gather access
We help you find your domain, hosting and analytics logins and request them if someone else holds them.
3. We build or move it
A new custom-coded site, or your existing site moved as is. WordPress sites we can host and look after too.
4. We protect your rankings
Old addresses are redirected to the new ones, and we compare search results before and after.
5. We switch over and watch
We make the change when the new site is ready and monitor it afterward.
6. You are in control
From then on one team hosts and manages the site, with no long-term contract.
Questions People Ask
Will I lose my Google rankings if I switch?
Not if it is done carefully. We carry over the pages that matter, redirect the old addresses to the new ones and compare results before and after. Some pages may move for a while, which is normal.
What if my current company will not give me my domain or files?
Ask for them in writing. Your domain and your content belong to you. If you run into trouble, tell us and we will walk you through the next steps.
Will my website be down during the move?
We switch over when the new site is ready, so downtime is usually minimal. We plan the timing with you.
Do I have to leave my current host?
Not always. We can look after a site where it is, but most clients move so that hosting, security and changes are in one place.
Do you work with sites you did not build?
Yes. It does not matter who built the site or what it runs on. We look after WordPress sites and build new sites custom-coded, with no templates or page builders.
How long does a switch take?
It depends on the size of the site. We give you a timeline in writing, along with a clear price, before anything starts.
