When the Professional Styling Academy (PSA) in Melbourne, Australia, approached us, they were looking for more than just a design solution; they were seeking to redefine their visual identity. Led by Cindy Newstead, PSA is a top-rated academy, renowned for shaping future stylists, and they required a logo and brand that would represent the quality and prestige of their institution.
The challenge was to create a logo that would embody the essence of PSA while resonating with the academy’s reputation for excellence. Our journey toward this goal was a collaborative and thoughtful process. We explored various concepts, focusing on each element’s ability to convey the brand’s unique positioning.
In the end, our choice of a strong serif typeface with expansive tracking provided PSA with a logo that stands as an authoritative yet elegant symbol. It’s more than a logo; it’s a visual statement that reflects PSA’s commitment to professional styling education. The transformation didn’t stop there; we also extended this new branding identity to their DVD Training Course and Training Certificate, ensuring a cohesive and refined presence across all their materials.
