Refined Gutters: a new company, launched with a full brand and website.
Refined Gutters installs seamless aluminum gutters, downspouts and gutter guards for homes, businesses and refineries across Whatcom and Skagit County. The company was brand new, so we designed everything it needed to look established on day one: the logo, the business cards and the website.

The Brief
The owner came to us asking for a logo for a brand-new company. The domain showed a "coming soon" page and competitors already had real websites. What sets Refined Gutters apart is industrial work: gutters on refineries and plants, as well as homes and commercial buildings.
Look established from day one
A brand that feels like a company with years behind it, ready for trucks, cards and job sites.
Speak to two kinds of buyer
Homeowners who want clean gutters and a fair estimate, and facility managers who need a crew that can work safely on an industrial site.
Make the estimate easy
Collect what is needed to quote a job the first time, including photos, so fewer calls go back and forth.
The Brand
A refinery and a home under one gutter line, with water running out of the downspout. It says what the company does, and for whom, at a glance. A bold condensed wordmark keeps it readable on a truck door or a business card.
Logo versions for every use
Full color, one color and reversed versions, so the logo works on white, on dark navy and in print.
Business cards
A dark front with the services and service area, and a back with contact details, the contractor license and a QR code for requesting an estimate.
One palette everywhere
Navy, signal blue and steel, used the same way on the cards and the website so the brand is consistent.
What We Built
A custom-coded website that does the work of a front office.
An estimate form that gets the details
Building type, service, gutter color and what the water is doing, with photo uploads of the eaves, so a quote can start right away.
A commercial and industrial page
Written for facility managers and contractors, about refinery and plant work as well as commercial roofs.
One page per service
Seamless gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, gutter repair and roofing.
Gutter colors
All 20 aluminum colors, with a note to ask for a physical chip because screens never quite match metal.
Gallery and service area
Job photos by type, and pages for Whatcom County and Skagit County.
Trust up front
Licensed, bonded and insured, with the contractor license number, the hours and a Call and Estimate bar that stays on screen on phones.
What We Do Now
We host the website and keep it safe, so the crew can stay on the job.
Hosting, security and backups
The domain, hosting and security are handled, and the site is backed up so nothing is lost.
Help when you need it
Questions and changes go to a real person, with a reply within one business day.
Questions About This Project
Did you design the logo and business cards too?
Yes. We designed the Refined Gutters logo, the business cards and the website together, so the brand looks the same on paper and on screen.
Is this a custom-coded website?
Yes. It is built for the business rather than from a template or page builder, so it loads quickly on a phone and is easy to change.
Do they own their logo and website?
Yes. As with every client, Refined Gutters owns the logo files, the website, the domain and the content. There is no long-term contract.
Could you do this for a new business?
Yes. Starting a company is the best time to get the brand and the website right together. Tell us about your business, or see our websites for contractors and trades.
