Longview Country Club: a new website for a club with more than 100 years of history.
Longview Country Club has a championship 18-hole course above the Columbia River, a clubhouse restaurant, the only outdoor pool in Cowlitz County and a history that goes back to 1923. Its public website used to sit inside the club’s member system. We designed and built a new one that leads with the course and a tour request, keeps members one click from their portal, and matches the ads and print we design for the club.

The Brief
A private club has two audiences. Future members want to see the course and book a tour. Current members want to log in, pay their bill and check the calendar without hunting for it.
Win new members
Show the course, the clubhouse and what membership includes, and make a tour easy to request.
Keep members served
The member portal, bill pay, directory and calendar stay exactly where members expect them.
Bring the club along
Drafts reviewed with the board, the men’s and women’s associations and the house committee before launch.
What We Built
A custom public website, designed with the club and linked to the member system it already uses.
Tour first
Schedule a Tour sits in the first screen and through the site, with the free round offer for prospective members.
A page for every part of the club
The course, pro shop, lessons and simulator, the men’s and women’s associations, junior golf, dining, events, the pool, membership and the club’s history.
Member portal kept intact
Member Portal and Calendar links in the header go straight to the club’s existing member system.
Dining and private events
Menus, dinner specials and a request form for weddings, reunions and private dinners.
Built for phones
Large buttons, short sections and a tap-to-call number for golfers on the go.
Reviewed with the club
We presented the site to the club’s committees on the clubhouse TV and worked through their feedback before launch.
Ads and Print to Match
We also design the club’s digital ads and print, so a golfer who sees an ad feels at home when they reach the website.

Digital ads
Square ads for social media: same-day tee times, the course, club amenities and a free round with a tour.
Print pieces
Dining flyers and an 8 by 10 print ad, updated as the menu and offers change.
Google review QR codes
A review link and QR codes in every format the club needs, so members and guests can leave a review in seconds.
