Ocean Beach Self Storage: a fast new website for a storage facility locals trust.
Ocean Beach Self Storage has served West Longview since 1993, mostly through word of mouth. Its old website was dated and hard to use on a phone. We designed and built a new one that shows the facility, answers the questions renters ask and puts the phone number everywhere, then moved the domain and hosting over to us.
At a Glance
- 1993the year the facility opened on Ocean Beach Highway
- 24/7gate code access, shown right in the first screen
- 3town pages: Longview, Kelso and Castle Rock
The Brief
Most renters call before they visit. The website had to earn that call: show a clean, secure facility, explain the options and make it easy to reach Clayton, the on-site manager.
Show the facility
Paved lanes, cameras, covered RV parking and enclosed units, seen from the ground and from the air.
Answer the first questions
Hours, access, unit types, RV and boat parking and how to pay, without a phone call.
Be found nearby
Show up for storage searches in Longview, Kelso and Castle Rock, not only for the business name.
What We Built
A custom website that loads fast on phones, written around how people shop for storage.
Call to reserve, everywhere
The phone number sits in the header, the first screen and a bar that stays on screen on phones.
Units, RV and boat pages
Separate pages for enclosed units and for covered and uncovered RV and boat parking.
Aerial photos and a gallery
A view from the air shows the paved lot and wide aisles better than any description.
Real Google reviews
Featured reviews from tenants, with links to leave one and to read the rest on Google.
Town pages
Pages for Longview, Kelso and Castle Rock so nearby renters find the facility.
Bill pay and packing tips
A pay bill page for current tenants and packing tips that help people before move-in day.
Before and After
The previous site had small text, a slideshow and a news section that had not been updated in years. The new one leads with what renters need and works on any phone.
